I never liked the phrase “being colour-blind”, meaning seeing no colours as far as races. But that’s silly to me…being actually colour blind means you CAN’T see some or all colours that a human can see. I’m blessed to have colour as the best part of my impaired eyesight, and that means I’ve seen beautiful colours from so many backgrounds of people. I have a lack in pigment, but even I have a little colour, enough to show that I’m very much alive.
I wouldn’t give that up and pretend that each colour doesn’t have its own beauty to appreciate. I hope others feel the same or similar. :D
